• EVENT: /Note: fr: Dossier Collection: Pierre Vernin titled/, Esquire d'Aigrepont, the Desert, Pont, treasurer of France at the bureau of Moulins, inherited this position of his father's in 1754. He again exercised it (the position) in 1789, at the time of the revolution. At the end of the same year in 1789, he added his name to a list of patriotic signatures of Moulins for 45 francs. On April 18, 1793, he signed the list of inhabitants of Moulins then absent from same (Moulins), he was ordered in secrecy to return on a brief notice. He made a marriage contract September 8, 1758, and married September 12, 1758, to Jeanne Giraudon, from a family of the parish of Celle-Bruere. She brought with her land from Montchenin (p. de Bressoles) which she had inherited from her uncle, Claude Maria. She died at Montchenin in 1777.:
