The Garden of Eden
==================
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Gen. 1:1). And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed (Gen. 2:8). And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Gen. 2:16-17). Today the members of the "body of Christ" are placed in a new garden of Eden it is called the "Mystery". The mystery of God is Christ (Col. 2:2) and Christ is in us (Col. 1:25-27 [27]). A place hidden in God (Eph. 3:1-3,5,9) and not brought forth until certain other things came to pass... i.e. the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, the denial of the Christ and the Kingdom. (1 Cor. 1:24; 2:6-8 and the revealing in 1 Cor. 2:9-13). God places us in this garden by believing.... (Eph. 1:7-14; 2:8-13). Our hearts are knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ, In Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col. 2:2,3). Once again Satan roams through this garden looking for who he can deceive. Today in this garden mystery, Satan can not take God's Word saying "Yea, hath God said, 'Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"... (Gen. 3:1). But he can deceive and if we adher to his voice, we can lose our rewards (1 Cor. 3:12-15). Today again we are the tillers of the soil... cultivators of God's Word in the hearts of men (Eph. 4:5,12).
