9 out of 10... DO NOT recognize Christ is God

Greetings to All,

"In the beginning was the Word," (John 1:1). Now because it says {{{was}}} does that mean it is no longer? And "the Word" {{{was}}} made flesh (John 1:14). And "the Word" {{{was}}} God... (John 1:1) does that mean "the Word was God", but now IS no longer God? If something {{{was}}} with God (John 1:1) than more than likely it {{{is}}} with God and ages from now it still will be with God... and to no end... and if something {{{was}}} God than it certainly {{{IS}}} God.

Did anybody recognize Jesus was God in the New Testament??? Yes. Naming someone outside the apostles and disciples there is "a Samaritan". Let us look at the account as it is written:

LUKE 17

[11] And it came to pass, as he (Christ) went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst [between the towns] of Samaria and Galilee.
[12] And as he (Christ) entered into a certain village, there met him {{{ten men that were lepers}}}, which stood afar off:
[13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
[14] And when he (Christ) saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

[15] And {{{one of them}}}, when he saw that he was healed, {{{turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,}}}

[16] And fell down on his (the samaritan) face at his (Christ) feet, giving him (Christ) thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

[17] And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
[18] There are not found {{{that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger}}}.
[19] And he (Christ) said unto him, Arise, go thy way: {{{thy faith hath made thee whole}}}.

Perhaps this is a ratio of the people of the world that will believe Christ is God.... one out of ten.

God Bless,
Eve
